July 3, 2009 Our third summer reading event was held on June 23 at the Memorial Building: "William and Blackjack" entertained with dragon stories. Some volunteers from the audience got to act out parts. The last reading program event will be held, Thursday, July 2 at the Memorial Building at 1:00. July 3, 2009 I read your article on the Eurasian Collared Dove. Now I know what is coming to our feeders at Rock Creek Lake in Jasper County. My niece in Denison also has seen these doves and was wondering what they were. So they must be spreading across Iowa as well as Missouri.
