Amy Michelle Fogt and Clayton Michael Leonard were united in marriage on September 10, 2011 in Reinbeck with Pastor Terry Plocher performing the 11 a.m. ceremony at the United Methodist Church.
Parents of the couple are Mike and Stacy Fogt of Reinbeck, Dee and Tom Hahn of Norwalk and Tim and Vivian Leonard of Orient. Grandparents of the bride are Gary and Margaret Rickert and Wayne and Marcia Fogt, both of Reinbeck. Grandparents of the groom are Dean and Lucy Conley of Orient, the late Chuck Leonard and Margaret of Bloomfield, Marilyn Haydock, of Mesa, Ariz., Darwin Ossian, of Ala. and Marge Flaby of Preston, Minn.
Matron of honor for her sister was Rachel Shepherd of Urbandale. Bridesmaids were Kayla Girres of West Bend, Shaunna Larson of Perry, Katie Wedmore of Waterloo, all friends of the bride and Stephanie Arnold of Des Moines, sister of the groom.
Attending the groom was best man, Chris Brooks of Des Moines. Groomsmen were Jeff Larson of Perry, friend of groom, Ben Fogt of Reinbeck, brother of the bride, Cain Goodenberger of Creston and Nick Davidson of Ames, also friends of the groom.
Seating guests were Blake Shepherd, brother-in-law of the bride, Jordan Rickert, cousin of the bride and Doug Schneider, cousin of the groom.
Flower girl was Liliana Shepherd, niece of the bride, and ring bearers were Mason and Rylan Fogt, nephews of the bride.
A reception was held at Fox Ridge Country Club in Dike following the ceremony.
Amy is employed with Media Captioning Services as a closed captioner and Clay is the K-9 officer for the City of Perry.
The couple honeymooned in Cozumel in February and lives in Perry.
