Cedar Valley Hospice, Abels & French-Hand Funeral Homes and Grundy County Memorial Hospital are pleased to announce the third educational session in a series of six being held in Grundy Center. "The Benefits of Exercise for Combating Stress" will be held Tuesday, June 12 in the Education Room at the Grundy County Memorial Hospital, 201 East J Avenue in Grundy Center. Please enter by door #3 on the West side of the building and greeters will direct you to the room. This event is free and open to the public.

"Everyone is welcome to come learn how exercise can be a valuable tool in the long term management of stress," says Christopher Wiedman, Manager of Therapy Services and Cardiac Rehab at Grundy County Memorial Hospital. "Please join us for discussion about the role of exercise in stress management, types of exercise and try out some of the exercises we will discuss." The session will include learning and practicing exercise techniques to combat stress, so participants are encouraged to wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing.

This is the third session in a series of six being held the second Tuesday of each month through September from 6:30 8 p.m. This educational series "One and Only You!" is being made available to the public because of a need for information on the importance of caregivers taking care of themselves, as well as those they love.
