The rain doesn't seem to put one in the mood for Christmas, but perhaps we should be happy it is not snow yet! What we do know is that Miracle on Main is coming soon, and snow or not, it is a guarantee to put us all in the mood for Christmas.
Trains and children or individuals who are children at heart, seem to go together with Christmas. Conductor Tim Johnson will be manning the station in the UCC basement from 6-8 p.m and while you are there, why not make a special craft as well?
Children (ok, and adults too!) also seem drawn to horses. Once again, the horse drawn trolley will be taking visitors around the town. This year you will board the trolley at the Covenant Clinic. Trolley rides will run from 6-8 p.m.
Feeling competitive? If you are a middle schooler, (grades 5-8) hone your beanbag skills and enter the beanbag competition on the east end of Main St. from 6-8 p.m. After that, celebrate the victory or just your friendships at the dance and fun night for middle schoolers at the Memorial Building from 8:30 to 11 p.m.
Lots and lots to do, make your plans, tell your friends, we will see you on November 9.
