William W. "Bill" DeWolf, 76, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at Covenant Medical Center from cancer.
He was born May 3, 1936 in Iowa City, the son of Donald and Jeannette McDade DeWolf. He married Carol Palmer September 7, 1958 in Waterloo.
Mr. DeWolf was employed by Rath Packing Company for 30 years. He then worked for Stanley Appliance and Carma Lou's House of Music.
Bill is survived by his wife of Waterloo; two sons, Scott (Angie) DeWolf of Waterloo, and Rus DeWolf of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Diana DeWolf of Reinbeck; one sister, Carol Albritton of Bowling Green, Ohio; five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 22 at Bethel Presbyterian Church, with burial in Reinbeck Cemetery. Visitation was held 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 21 at Kearns, Huisman-Schumacher Chapel on Kimball, and one hour prior to the service at the church.
