The library now offers LearningExpress, accessible through any of its computers for public use. LearningExpres is a workforce-related online resource, which is provided for one year to public and academic libraries at no charge. It is an interactive online platform, providing a comprehensive package of career and academic resources. It can help with job preparation, career advancement, and college readiness. LearningExpress may also be used by students to build skills in math, reading, grammar and vocabulary. It includes over 800 online courses, tests, and e-books for help with career and scholastic achievement.
New books at the library this week include the following paperbacks: Keeper of the Bride by Tess Gerritsen, Unspoken by Lisa Jackson, Blackhouse by Stephen King, Already Home by Susan Mallery, Corbin's Fancy by Linda Lael Miller, Here and Then also by Linda Lael Miller, Golden Shores by Nora Roberts, Black Cherry Blues by James Lee Burke, and The Wrong Man by David Ellis.
