Merlin Adair will celebrate his 97th birthday on Sunday with a family pizza party and card shower.
He was born Jan. 6, 1916, son of Harry and Pearl Adair. He married Jeanette Stumberg on July 26, 1938.
Family includes Bea (Dale) Greiner of Reinbeck and Curt Adair (deceased). Grandchildren include Steve Adair, Shelli Reab, Trevis Adair, Kim Thesing, Rita Hummel and Rodney Greiner. There are fourteen great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
