WATERLOO, IOWA The Waterloo Community Playhouse has announced the cast for its upcoming production of "Noises Off". The production is scheduled for January 25-February 2 in the Hope Martin Theatre in the Waterloo Center for the Arts, 225 Commercial St., Waterloo, Iowa.
BRIAN JOHN MCCARTY (Garry) is employed as a property manager, married to Rebecca McCarty and is from Waterloo. He has a lot of experience with WCP. He most recently performed in Christmas Crackers. His other recent WCP productions include: All Shook Up; Annie; The Underpants, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. He spent last summer working with a professional theatre company in Wisconsin.
LINDA MERRITT (Dotty) is employed as a lawyer, married to Richard Merritt and lives in Cedar Rapids. She has a lot of experience performing in theatres. She recently appeared in Christmas Crackers and Butterscotch with the WCP. Linda has recently returned from Ireland and Sydney, Australia.
ERIC LANDUYT (Lloyd) is employed as a commercial producer and lives in Cedar Falls. He has experience with CFCT where he performed in The Government Inspector; Over the River and Through the Woods; The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Deathtrap.
ANDREW BOUSKA (Frederick) is employed as a graphic artist and is from Reinbeck and living in Cedar Falls. He has a lot of experience with WCP, performing in Happy Birthday; The Big Five-Oh; Leaving Iowa; The Nerd; Father of the Bride; Bedroom Farce; It's a Wonderful Life; Miracle on 34th St; Sylvia; and Stalag 17. He writes music professionally and has his own recording studio.
COURTNEY FREY (Belinda) is employed as a writer and is from Parkersburg. Her experience with WCP includes Happy Birthday and Butterscotch. Courtney is currently working on writing her second book.
REBECCA MCCARTY (Brooke) is employed at Bed, Bath and Beyond and is married to Brian McCarty. She is also from Waterloo. She has a lot of experience with WCP, including Panache; The Sugar Bean Sisters; The Canterville Ghost; Good Answer; and Footloose. Rebecca is thrilled to be working on this show!
JOHN JENSEN (Selsdon) is employed as a Pharmacist and married to Melissa Jensen from Cedar Falls. His experience with WCP includes: Christmas Story; Twelve Angry Men; and Murder's in the Heir. He has four children and seven grandchildren; and enjoys golfing and traveling.
ANDREA MORRIS (Poppy) is employed as an actress and is from Cedar Falls. She has a lot of experience with UNI Theatre where she performed in Dying City; Count Dracula, Marat/Sada; Mad Forest, Mother Hicks; Alice in the Underground; Urinetown; and Mistakes Madeline Made.
ALEX MOUGIN (Tim) is employed as a Promotions Writer/Producer and is from Waterloo. While in high school at Clear Creek Amana, he has performed in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Three Murders and it's Only Monday. Alex has also performed in High School Musical at Theatre Cedar Rapids. He has traveled all over the United States and Europe.
