Kyle Formanek is a new history teacher at Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School. He is also helping in coaching our wrestlers. To help you get to know him, I asked him a few questions about himself, and his time at G-R so far.
What is your favorite food?
Buffalo chicken strips.
Who is your hero/role model?
My high school wrestling coach.
What is your favorite type of music?
If you could meet one person, who would it be?
Who is in your family?
My parents and two brothers, one 3 years older, one 3 years younger.
What are your hobbies?
Teaching, coaching, skiing, and reading.
What are some things that are unique about you?
All of my siblings went to different colleges, Iowa State-older, UNI-me, and Iowa-younger.
Where are you originally from?
Farmersburg, Iowa- MFL MarMac High School.
Where did you attend college?
What brought you to Gladbrook-Reinbeck?
I have met a lot of people from the area while I was in college so that made it an easy decision to come teach and coach here. Also, the opportunity for the job was important.
What is your favorite thing so far about Gladbrook-Reinbeck?
The students and faculty are all great so far so they make it a great place to work.
What classes do you all teach?
U. S. history, sociology, current events, geography and civics.
