Tom Boheman is a science teacher at Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School. Many know of him as just a teacher, but he is also a volunteer basketball coach. He has enough passion for the game of basketball and the care for the athletes that he is willing to give up his time for them. He coaches the game of basketball to the players, but he also coaches the players on life.

Hunting, fishing, canoeing, and woodworking.

What classes do you teach?
General Biology, Physical Science, Anatomy, BioMed and Environmental Studies.

I like the competitiveness of it.
What thing do you try and teach most to your players about life?
Hard work always pays off.
What was your proudest moment as a coach?
Watching my daughters, when I was a men's coach we were rated in the top 10 two years in a row.
What advice would you give to aspiring coaches?
Good teams are created, not born.
