Hunt & Associates, P.C., Certified Public accountants, released an audit report on Gladbrook-Reinbeck Community School District in Reinbeck, Iowa.
The District's revenues totaled $7,923,625 for the year ended June 30, 2012, a 3.2 percent decrease from the prior year. Revenues included $3,697,700 in local tax, charges for services of $543,641, operating grants, contributions and restricted interest of $963,489, capital grants, contributions and restricted interest of $24,207, unrestricted of $26,749 and other general revenues of $2,667,839.
Expenses for District operations totaled $7,638,755, a 5.0 percent increase from the prior year. Expenses included $4,673.336 for instructional services, $643,252 for operation and maintenance of plant services, and $593,148 for administration services.
