Bill and Brenda Huntley of Traer, along with Karen & Lynn Rohach of Reinbeck and Jim Bohnstengel of Faribault, Minn. are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Amber Huntley and David Bohnstengel.
Amber is a 2006 graduate of North Tama H.S. She graduated from Covenant Radiography School in 2011 and is currently at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa as a Registered Radiologic Technologist. Amber holds the highest level of technologist at Mercy. She is also currently a Farrell's Extreme Body Shaping Coach in Johnston, Iowa.
David is a 2005 graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck H.S. and a 2011 graduate of University of Northern Iowa. He is currently pursuing a career in real estate and property management. He has been a member of the Iowa Army National Guard since 2008. First Lieutenant Bohnstengel is currently serving as a platoon leader for Charlie Co 2/34th Brigade Special Troops Battalion based out of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The couple met three years ago on Main Street in Cedar Falls and currently reside in Des Moines, Iowa. They enjoy cycling, camping, Hawkeye and Panther football games and date nights. The wedding will take place on October 12, 2013 at Heartland Vineyard Church in Cedar Falls with a reception to follow at the Electric Park Ballroom in Waterloo.
