American adventurer to speak at Grundy Center High School to support local students with cancer

Charlie Wittmack, American adventurer, will tell his firsthand account of completing the world's longest triathlon an inspirational story of extraordinary resolve, determination and success in the face of unprecedented challenge at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at the Grundy Center High School Auditorium. Everyone is invited!

In addition to recounting his inspirational story of completing the world's longest triathlon, Charlie will also discuss his involvement with Above and Beyond Cancer, a charity with a mission to reduce the burden of cancer across the globe. This event will also support 3 Grundy County students: Hillary Samo, Grundy Center High School student, Ray Callaway, BCLUW Elementary School student and Noah Ohrt, Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School student, in their battles against cancer.
