Headlines-G-R staff was honored with a year end breakfast on June 3. Retirees were also recognized-Kayla Reese, Barb Schwarck, Vicki Roberts, Darrell Paustian and Candi Smith. Forty-three G-R 7th & 8th grade students, parents and staff left for Washington D.C. They returned home on June 5th. Rev. Bruce Boyce celebrates 25 years in the ministry. He has served St. John's Lutheran Church in Reinbeck for 12 1/2 years. On May 4 the senior class loaded a charter bus for St. Louis for several days.
Celebrations-Elaine Ehlers will celebrate her 90th birthday with her family on June 19th. Sonya Beichley & Joshua Rouser will be married July 20 at Pilgrim Heights Camp & Retreat, rural Montour. Reinbeck native Sarah Draffen will be performing in the upcoming production of Oklahoma at the Oster Regent Theatre. Shawn Weber receives his 15 year service award with Grundy County. National Nursing Assistants' week is June 13-20.

Celebrations-Mr. & Mrs. Mark Schildroth will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner and a family trip to Jamaica. Allysen White has been awarded the annual Ethan Hungerford scholarship.

Three generations of Masons-Lon Larsen, Ash Larsen and Iner Larsen were honored on Aug. 21 when Ash became a Master Mason.
