PARKERSBURG - Outscored 20-8 in the second quarter, the Rebels' late rally fell short in a loss in cross-division North Iowa Cedar League play Tuesday.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck (8-12) led by one after the first frame before falling into a 30-19 hole at the break. The Rebels trailed 44-31 before racing back in the fourth.

Nicole Adair paced the Rebels with 10 points, while Hanna Christopher and Amber Berendes scored nine apiece. Christopher grabbed a team-high 15 rebounds, Britney Keller chipped in seven points and Berendes added four blocks. Kaitlyn Mohwinkle's double-double of 10 points and 10 rebounds led A-P (4-17), while Amanda Taylor also scored 10.

Losing four of its last five, G-R will face North Tama on the road Saturday.
