Ames, Iowa - The Iowa State University College of Human Sciences and its academic departments offered over $800,000 in scholarships to students for the 2014-2015 academic year.

Local recipients include:

Conrad, Iowa: Claire Anderson, Senior, Family and Consumer Sciences Education and Studies, BCLUW High School, , Miller Endowment in FCS Education and Studies Scholarship - Human Development and Family Studies, Betty Kirkbride Keller Scholarship - College of Human Sciences

Kari Selken, Freshman, Kinesiology and Health, BCLUW High School, , George & Nellie Stromer Heald Scholarship - College of Human Sciences, Margaret Wiese Scholarship - Kinesiology
