Todd Ross Freese 54, of Mt. Pleasant passed away on Friday, May 13, 2016, at the Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant.

Todd was born on October 4, 1961, in Waterloo, the son of Harold & Bonnie Ullrich Freese. He was a graduate of Reinbeck High School in the class of 1981. He was united in marriage to Barb Klopfenstein on October 24, 1987, in Mt. Pleasant. Todd traveled building Pioneer Plants and while he was helping with the construction of the Mt. Pleasant Plant he was offered a full time position that ended up to be a 24 year position. He later went to work for Schaus Vorhies Construction for nine years and All American Pest both of Fairfield until his health declined. He was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He loved his kids and grandkids more than anything in the world. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, going deer hunting with his group and flathead fishing on the Skunk River with his children. Todd was loved by many people.

Todd is survived by his wife Barb, 2 sons; Tyler (Renee) Freese and Nate (Jess) Freese, his grandchildren; Hadley Renee Freese and Owen Chris Freese, his parents; Harold & Bonnie Freese; three brothers; Randy (Nancy) Freese, Wade (Shelly) Freese and Russ (Julie) Freese; his sister; Angie (Louis) Lobo along with many nieces and nephews.

According to his wishes cremation has been accorded and no services will be held at this time. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be directed to the family to purchase toys for the University of Iowa Children's Hospital.
