Beulah A. Iezek, 72, of Voorhies, Iowa died Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Medical Center of McKinney in McKinney, Texas. A funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 12, 2016, at the First Presbyterian Church in Reinbeck, Iowa with Reverends Mike and Sheryl Campbell officiating. Burial followed at the Reinbeck Cemetery in Reinbeck, Iowa. A visitation was held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at French-Hand Funeral Home in Reinbeck, Iowa. Beulah Ann Jensen, daughter of Ewald and Edna Prehn Jensen was born on August 31, 1944 in Buckingham, Iowa. She received her education in Reinbeck, Iowa graduating from Reinbeck High School in 1962. Following her education, she worked at Takin Bros. Moving and Storage in Waterloo, and Orries Supper Club in Voorhies, Iowa. On May 21, 1971, she married Thomas J. Iezek at the First Presbyterian Church in Reinbeck. Beulah's main vocation was as a homemaker and a childcare provider in her home for over 21 years. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church in Reinbeck. Her hobbies included reading, crocheting, fishing in Minnesota, going to casinos and traveling out west. She was also an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan, especially basketball and football.
Survivors include her loving husband, Thomas Iezek of Voorhies, Iowa; son, Alan (Michelle) Iezek of Phoenix, Ariz.; daughter, Lori (Andrew) Turnbull of Anna, Texas; granddaughter, Jaclyn Iezek of Phoenix, Ariz.; sister, Ruby (Ron) Koch of Reinbeck, Iowa; brother, Everett (Denise) Jensen of Providence Village, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and many kids who she treated as her own during their years at her daycare. Beulah was preceded in death by her parents.
