Come to the library during the month of March and see artwork by the elementary students, grades K-6.
We have some in the display case, and some posted on the book shelves.
For spring break week, we have several special events planned for kids. Starting Friday, March 10, readers can stop in and pick up a Spring Break Bingo card. Take it home, complete a Bingo (straight line in any direction) and return the card by Monday, March 20 for a prize. On Monday, March 13, any time after 1:00 p.m. there will be a 10 Clues Search. All elementary age children are welcome to participate. Each clue will lead to a different part of the library and a new clue. The participant will need to write down the location of each clue (but leave the clue in its hiding place) before moving on to the next clue. Younger children will need an adult to help them. Tuesday, March 14 will be our regular story time for young children at 10:00 a.m. with Cherie Eckhoff. Then on Friday, March 17 we will have a special St. Patrick's Day story time. There will be a Reader's Theater presentation of an Irish folktale appropriate for all ages. Come and see some of our own GR students perform. We will also have craft time and a snack.
Also, we are offering another technology help session at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18. This is for anyone needing more info on using their tech devices. Bring your device and any questions. A GR student will be here to assist you. No registration is required.
