Dear Editor,

"This is a really nice community." That is what our insurance adjuster said as he got out of his car. I told him I?agreed. We aren't from here, but we love it. This made me proud of Reinbeck.

Once again the Reinbeck community supported the United State Postal Service NALC Food Drive with generous donations. Because of all of you the Reinbeck Food Pantry at the Union United Church of Christ on Broad Street has full shelves. The citizens of Reinbeck always come together to help others.

The Black Hawk Nighthawk 4H club and other volunteers helped the letter carriers collect 775 pounds of donated goods. The volunteers that help unload the bags weigh everything and put the food on the shelves is much appreciated.

The Food Pantry will always accept any donations. Just drop them off at the UCC or Methodist Church. The Food Pantry is open to anyone that needs some assistance to maybe just help make it through the month.
