Dear Editor,

HOORAY! for Reinbeck and the City Council.

I don't want our town to become a bedroom community of senior citizens. I want our community to grow. Growth means young couples with children want to buy, build and live here. One of the criteria these families are looking for is affordable, adequate day care. With an influx of families more children will also attend our school.

More residents mean more Reinbeck utility users, more local businesses, more employment opportunities and more revenue for Reinbeck. Wonderful to have a progressive town that is always looking toward the future.

WOW! Just look at the advantages a larger capacity day care center will provide Reinbeck. I appreciate Richard Grimm, and family for your thoughtful memorial gift you gave Reinbeck. The $180 thousand for additional day care space is an appropriate way to spend this memorial money.

I appreciate the City Council for using the Grimm memorial money so wisely. You have benefited our future citizens and next community leaders.
