Class of 1948 hold their 58th class reunion on July 13, 14 & 15 at Clear Lake.

Maxine Wollesen, 88, Reinbeck, died August 9 at Parkview Manor.

Nadine Dew, 87, Grundy Center, died August 8 at the Grundy Hospital long-term care unit.

Graveside committal services for Lonnie Cockerham of Marshalltown were held August 12.

Henry Junge, Jr. 37, Traer, died August 21 in a fatal motorcycle/car accident.

Reinbeck School opened with 700 student enrollment.

Jean Larsen & Rick Stavely announce their wedding to be held on August 12 in Omaha.

Carl Dingle, Morrison, displayed his extensive collection of hand made wooden miniatures at the Morrison Museum.

W.L. Kelley, 82, died August 19. He was a long time owner of Kelley Hardware from 1931-1965 in Reinbeck.

AUGUST 24, 1967

James Blakely, Mitchellville, Iowa is the new plant superintendent of Reinbeck Morrison Coop grain elevator operation.

Anna DeWolf, 91, died August 20.

Fire completely destroyed a large barn at Belmont Stock Farms east of Reinbeck.

A new farmers owned Coop of Voorhies Grain to begin Sept. 1 with C.B. VanDeventer as manager.
