Hannah Christopher playing soccer at Luther College

Decorah, Iowa - Hannah Christopher, a 2015 graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School, is a starting midfielder for the Luther College soccer team.

Five matches into the 2017 campaign, Luther has an overall record of 3-2.

The Norse are coached by Russ Schouweiler (79-51-7) who is in the midst of his eighth season at the helm of the program. During his tenure, he has been named Iowa Conference Coach of the Year twice (2013-2016) and last year led the Norse to their first appearance in the NCAA III National Tournament.

Christopher is the daughter of Carol Christopher and Phil Chien and Bruce Christopher, all of Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Luther College is a four-year liberal arts college affiliated with the Lutheran Church and is located in Decorah, Iowa. The Norse compete in 10 men's and nine women's intercollegiate sports.

An original member of the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (IIAC) since 1922, the Luther men's teams have won 165 conference championships. In 1982, the IIAC expanded its championship sponsorship to included women's sports. During this time frame, the women have won 78 championships. Luther is the first school in the Iowa Conference to record an unmatched 243 IIAC titles.
