Deborah Cox, 47, Dike died Oct. 22 at home.

Minnie Hooper, 96, Gladbrook, died Oct. 19 at the Grundy Care Center.

Kelly Jo Williams, Hudson, will be leaving on Nov. 11 to report to Fort Jackson, S.C. where she will begin basic training for the U.S. Army.

City of Reinbeck has filed a lawsuit against Century Labs of Kansas City and Sandy Shapiro, who represented the company to recoup $8,000 for the family tennis resurfacing job.

Emma Creswell will celebrate her 85th birthday on Nov. 5.

Mr. & Mrs. Dan Beenken are parents of a son born Oct. 25.

Anna Tetzner, 90, died at Parkview Manor on Nov. 17.

Heavy fog was the cause of a fatal accident in which the Garwin town marshal was killed when his auto struck a horse south of Garwin.
