Our next story time for kids will be held on Tuesday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m., with Dean Staack doing the program.

If you are interested in designing a logo for the library's centennial, you have until December 15 to submit an entry. The logo is planned to be used on book bags. It must be easily resized, look good in black and white or color, and be suitable for printing. It must contain the words Reinbeck Public Library and the dates 1917-2017. Winning logo will be the property of the Reinbeck Library, to publish, display, use in advertising through any type of media, including but not limited to book bags, website, social media. Signs, posters, envelopes and brochures. The winning design will be decided on December 22 by the board and staff of the library. The winner will receive recognition on the library website, newspaper, and the right to identify him/herself as the logo designer, as well as the right to use the basic logo. Entrants should be careful that their entries are not similar to existing logos or other copyrighted images and are original artwork. They may be mailed in, dropped off in person, or submitted by email to Please include your name and contact information. If emailed acceptable formats are JPG and PDF. The library reserves the right not to select a winner, if, in its sole discretion, no suitable entries are received. The winner shall giver permission to the library to make public the winner's name for publicity purposes. Further personal data is not required.
