Reinbeck Courier
Name : Haleigh Morgan Birthday: November 29, 2000 City/town of birth: Waterloo, Iowa Favorite thing to do after school: NAP or chill out with friends and just have a good, relaxing time. Favorite band or musician: Fall Out Boy / Black Veil Brides / Lady Gaga / Johnny Cash Favorite vacation spot: The Mountains (South Dakota, Black Hills, Yellowstone) What activities/sports did you participate in at GR? Band + Jazz Band, Musicals, Newspaper What is your favorite high school memory? I remember loitering the halls with Paige and Ariel. We would walk around, talk, or just do homework together. Another one of my favorite memories is not necessarily in school, we were at Adventureland for the annual band trip and Ariel, Ari and I were at the top of the Ferris wheel, we were laughing together and just looked over the park as the day ended. At the senior class trip on the bus ride heading into Gladbrook and Reinbeck the whole bus started singing together and it was amazing. What will you miss about GR? The environment of being close to friends and the familiarity of the school and the teachers. Some of the teachers are very nice and friendly and I’m going to miss them. Who is your favorite GR teacher and why? Ms. Miller - She is just so energetic and her enthusiasm is just contagious, and when in writing classes with her, it just made me love writing even more and look forward to learning in class. She was and is very awesome, and helps me however she can. And sometimes we can just talk about so many different things together. What advice do you have for underclassman? Try your best, and if you think it’s not enough don’t be too hard on yourself. If your best is all you can give, then it’s all you can give, just let it go. Not every grade is your last or will change your future. If you fail a test, it won’t matter in 10 years. It’s okay. Not everything that means the world to you now will mean that will be your future. It will be okay. What are your future plans? I plan to go to Hawkeye Community College for my Associates Degree and while doing that I plan to work towards my acting career. My main goal is acting, however, I will also work to be a psychologist or a zoologist/veterinarian. Senior Quote: “Part of the Journey Is The End” - Tony Stark
