Field drainage: economics, engineering, laws and issues

Grundy County Extension and the Grundy Soil and Water Conservation District are sponsoring a comprehensive program on field drainage for Tuesday, March 16, 2010, starting at 9:00 AM, at the Titan Machinery, 23604 Diagonal Rd., Grundy Center, Iowa. The 1998 estimate on Iowa cropland acres having field drainage indicated 35% or approximately 9.1 million acres.

Grundy County Public Health Services is sponsoring a foot clinic on Monday, March 8, 2010, at Westview Estates in the Activity Room. The clinic includes toenail trimming and foot massage. This program is designed to aid people who have difficulty cutting their toenails. If nails are too difficult to cut, podiatrist information will be available. Please bring lotion if you want a foot massage.
